Got into NYC Friday night. I had bounced around from city to city too much to get in any runs the last few days... at least that's the excuse I'm going with.

Ran a nice easy 3 with Josh before grabbing some coffee.

Went out for an easy run right after waking up. Forgot my Garmin, running by feel is tough when you haven't got in many runs recently! Just made sure to keep my breathing relaxed.

Went out around 4 for a hard run. I had wanted to do a 4 mile tempo run, but I couldn't find that faster gear. So I settled for a 5 mile Steady State run through Riverside Park. The sun had finally begun to shine, so I was surprised that there weren't more people out; but I guess most people work during the week. Mile break down as follows:

  1.  6:36
  2. 6:30
  3. 6:28
  4. 6:24
  5. 6:35
The first 4 miles were flat, while the final mile featured about 250 meter's of uphill at the end. Despite not having the speed I wanted, this felt pretty good.
